Commonwealth launches “Stop Addiction in Its Tracks”

On June 17, 2015, Massachusetts launched the Stop Addiction in Its Tracks campaign — part of a statewide strategy for responding to the epidemic of opioid addiction. The campaign, focused initially on parents and families, includes TV and online ads, as well as a new state website with information about opioid addiction, tips for parents for talking to kids about opioids and preventing addiction, information on Narcan (a medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose), and links and resources for getting help.

Visit the Stop Addiction website for more information. You can also follow the campaign and learn more on Facebook.
