Working with People Who Use Stimulants: OOPTP Training Session

Join the Opioid Overdose Prevention Training Project team for an interactive training on Working with People Who Use Stimulants. This interactive training is designed to help participants learn the basics of stimulants, what they do in the body, and how we can support people who use them. As drug use changes and evolves in Massachusetts and beyond, we need to be prepared to support clients no matter what substances they use.

*Please note that this an interactive training – we will utilize several different features on Zoom for activities, including breakout rooms, annotation, and chat. Participants are highly encouraged to have their video on (if they have access to a camera) to engage in discussions and activities.*

**ASL interpreters and CART services available upon request. Please email [email protected] at least 2 weeks prior to the training to let us know of any accommodations you will need when registering.**

This interactive training will introduce the many different forms recovery can take from Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) to 12-step programs, to cognitive based therapies. In addition, participants will explore addressing stigma around recovery and how to best support our clients.
